Stashluk Goes Green.
Stashluk is way ahead of the ‘green curve’, and has been for more than a decade now. We lead the way with cutting edge products, services and high efficiency technologies. Here are just a few examples of our green efforts.
Green Refrigerant.
 Eleven years ago, Carrier, our major supplier, developed and introduced Puron, an environmentally friendly refrigeration product. We immediately secured training and became certified in the use of Puron, and have been selling it ever since.
Hybrid Systems.
 We have been active providers of dual-fuel heating systems, which support environmental objectives. For more information on hybrids and heat pumps, click here.
Smaller Trucks.
 While others have moved to large “Box” trucks, we have returned to smaller, more fuel efficient, standard size vans both as a cost efficiency and as a “Green” decision.
We began using bigger Box trucks in the 1990’s, but discovered their fuel and maintenance costs were twice those of standard vans. They were also more difficult to drive and maneuver. Since major supply houses are easily accessed from our service area, we didn’t need multiple Box trucks – they didn't add value - actually cost more, as we had to pass along “Big Box Truck” costs to our customers.
We returned to smaller, fuel efficient vans carrying all the necessities, and left just one large Box truck on the road to support technicians who needed oversized equipment and running parts. In this way, we saved money, reduced our carbon footprint, and enhanced the environment, all at the same time.

Air Conditioning.
100% of all new Stashluk air conditioning system installations are
environmentally friendly Carrier Puron systems.
Recycling.
100% of our old refrigerant is recycled. All metals are recycled. We also
recycle 100% of all recovered equipment, metals, office paper goods and waste.
