Stashluk Gives Back to the community
March 30, 2009
Dear Jim:
Thank you so much for agreeing to be the fundraising co-chair for our 2009 Summer Mission Trip. Looking back, it was one of the most significant moments in ensuring the success of this year’s trip.
Your efforts in enabling the southeastern BBQ to be a success were downright inspiring. It was truly a wonderful night, with great food, fellowship, and fun! And we raised around $12,000.
I am particularly grateful to you for your vision for this event, your willingness and ability to include other people, organizations, and businesses, including your own, in this process, and your committed presence in helping to manage the event.
I admire your faith in people, your leadership abilities and skills, and your work ethic. It is very rare that one person can put together detailed spread sheets, motivate people, and roll up their sleeves and move a few hundred tables and chairs!
Thanks also for your donations to the Goods and Services Auction, for introducing me and our church to the Green Village Fire House, for letting us use your company truck and coordinating the delivery and return of the tables and chairs, for arranging for the liquor license and kegs (thanks Mary!), and for inviting your brother-in-law to join us on the trip. I’m sure I forgot something, which is a testament to how much you did!
I look forward to spending more time with you, Dana, and Jim in Southeast Texas.
I pray you and your company continue to do well during these challenging times and I thank you and your company for your dedication and service to the Community.
Serving Christ with you,
Marc
